Site updates

September 4th, 2007

As you might have noticed, we’ve updated the site. We’ve moved the web comic into an archive position and we’ve added some initial info about our developing book tour juggernaut. We’re particularly excited about the Left Coast Book party at Isotope in San Francisco. More dates and details will be added as we closer to the release (Nov. 19). We’re also looking to do a limited college tour in the spring. If your school, department, club or community group might want to host the author or artist, or both, contact anthony [at] gnn.tv.

We moved the web comic to try and clear up some confusion about the relationship between the web comic and book. Think of web comic as a sort of a beta version of the book, a rough draft, if you will. It was written and drawn week-to-week like an old school comic. When we scored the book contract, we took and long deep breath and re-evaluated the story arc and created a new work based on the web comic. We ended up making significant plot changes as well as a near total overhaul of the art. The book has about 110 pages of new material and takes the story to its dramatic conclusion. Several of the changes we made were in direct response to the awesome comments you posted on this site. So thank you all for the input. This was truly an interactive creative product. And we think you’re going to be thrilled with the result.
