Antoine, it’s fucking great. I love that you can make fun of yourself.
I want a signed copy, and an animated guest-star appearance. Keep it up Bone

Big E - thanks dude. Your site/work looks incredible. How you been? Where’s my flak jacket?
July 1st, 2006 at 12:07 pm
Wow. This is phenominal. Just read it from the beginning, and it’s just stunning.
I can’t wait for no.8

Anthony,
I sold your flak jacket on e-bay to a GNN cult follower, I told him that the sweat stains were from you, not me - got an extra $1000 for that. I know where the dude lives, close by - I’ll get it back, sneak into his garage under the cover of firework celebrations…
I should be in NYC September, I’ll bring it then. Now what about my guest appearance in shooting war?

E - No worries.
I’ll see what I can do. I have a lot of cameo requests…
Let’s hang in Sept. No flaking.

I just stumbled onto your story by accident and read the complete 7 chapters. Man that is a really cool story and the way you combine your art work with the real background pictures is incredible. I can hardly wait for chapter 8 and then for chapter9 etc… Great job simply brilliant.

Interesting. But borderline cliche. Amp it up. Lock and load with the ideas and the characters, not just with the art work.

Make sure you represent the Spec Ops, keep up the good work

The first issues bordered on brilliant. Believable speculations about the future of politics and media. Recently, your political commentary is becoming less subtle. I think you are spending too much time getting blowjobs by all your fanboys and it is affecting your storyline.
What was the plot of this episode? Oh yeah, lets be ‘ironic’ by having a christian commander say the eff word each time he speaks - edgy. Pathetic actually. I’m sure every one at your posse party will drool over it though.

the blow jobs have been phenomenal
in all seriousness, thanks for the feedback
it’s interesting, several people have said Crash seems over the top
to that I can only refer you to this: http://anthony.gnn.tv/blogs/10187/Sassaman_s_Saga_The_Fall_of_the_Warrior_King
again, thanks for the comments, good and bad

i can respect what this comic dose or is trying to do but it just seems too biased and too impractical i get the whole u.s. death squad but the skull masks are just too much for my taste…..

Excellent strip, I’m at chapter seven. Having been to Iraq a couple of times, it brings back memories. Bad ones. But a good strip nontheless, very authentic.

A comment from the years-out-of-touch old fart department:
Was the shortened T on Crowley’s face a “Tommy” reference?
By the way, I don’t know jack about comix, graphic novels, or blogging; but I’m blown away.

^he’s kidding about the cross on crash’s face, right? please tell me you knew it was a cross.

I have to agree that the politics is going downhill a bit. And the graphics look a bit rushed too, for that matter. Trying to make deadlines?
As they’re saying: you’re probably taking too much time off for wind therapy. Go deep young man — go DEEP. This is getting a bit too liberal,, too “mainstream”. Too suburban. Veer to the left again: obstacle ahead!

The reference to the Eddie Adams photo (General Nguyen Ngoc Loan Executing a Viet Cong Prisoner in Saigon) was a bit blatant. So, bleh.

The leader with the cross/label whatever on his face is awesome.
